Harlan VII – A film by Detroit Lives!

Enter for a chance to win a Nokia Lumia Icon! Vote for Harlan VII:http://nokia.ly/LumiaIconVideoChallenge

The Detroit Lives! team came up with a video concept to tell the story of a bathroom attendant, Harlan Ruddecksplainder, with an extreme love of the hospitality industry. In the face of loudmouth drunks, passed out druggies, and pickpocketing jerks, Harlan maintains his post with impeccable composure and sage like words of wisdom. But what happens when the Ladies Room across the hall gets a cute new attendant? Without the luxury of “a bathroom break,” Harlan will have to get crafty with his approach.

Detroit Lives! is a small Detroit shop with a knack for telling stories and guerrilla filmmaking. Their commercial work spans everything from Fortune 500 to small town business, and their indie narratives and short documentaries have picked up awards at festivals around the country. They love giving people a character to admire and a plot to dive in to…and love that it doesn’t take a billion dollars to reach a billion people.
